Check your website’s authority in 10 seconds

See where your site scores out of 100, what is holding it back, and whether AI search engines can even read it. We show every check we run and every one we could not.

No credit card. No account. Your score is shown free.

Backlinks are not the whole story any more

Off-page authority tells you whether Google is likely to trust you. It says nothing about whether ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity or AI Overviews can read your pages, understand what you sell, and cite you in an answer. Those are different problems with different fixes, and most free checkers only measure the first one.

That is why this tool checks both. A site can have a modest link profile and still be the answer an AI engine reaches for — if the structure, schema and crawler access are right.

How we fix AI search visibility

What your score means

  • 90–100

    Excellent

Search and AI engines can read, parse and cite this site without friction.

  • 80–89

    Strong

Solid foundations. What is left is refinement rather than repair.

  • 70–79

    Competitive

The basics hold, but specific gaps are costing visibility right now.

  • 60–69

    Weak

Enough is broken that engines are working around the site rather than with it.

  • 0–59

    At risk

Fundamentals are missing. This is usually a rebuild conversation, not a tweak.

Exactly what we check

Eight weighted dimensions, 43 individual checks, all from your public footprint. No logins, no access to your analytics, nothing you have to install.

  • Technical

Status codes, redirects, canonicals, robots directives, mobile viewport, client-render risk

  • Content

Titles, descriptions, headings, thin pages, duplication, information gain

  • Answer engines

Question headings, answer-first blocks, extractable passages

  • AI search

GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot access, llms.txt, raw-HTML share, citable passages

  • Schema

JSON-LD validity, required properties, entity identity, sameAs, deprecated types

  • Local

LocalBusiness markup and NAP consistency, where the business type calls for it

  • Authority

Declared entity profiles, and the Open PageRank link-graph position

  • Experience

Author signals, credentials, an about page, freshness

The instant check reads one page. Anything that genuinely needs several — duplicate titles across a site, orphaned pages — is reported as not measured rather than quietly passed. We would rather show you a smaller honest number than a bigger invented one.

Fair questions

Is this Moz Domain Authority?
No. Domain Authority is a trademarked Moz metric and only Moz can calculate it, the same way Domain Rating belongs to Ahrefs. The authority figure here is Open PageRank, an independently published score built on the Common Crawl web graph, and we show it with its source attached. The score out of 100 is our own rubric and we list every check that feeds it.
Why does my site show a low authority number?
Open PageRank measures how many other indexed sites link to you, and it follows Common Crawl. New, small or crawler-blocking sites genuinely have very few recorded referring domains. That is a finding rather than a fault, and it is usually the least urgent thing on the list — the technical and AI-readiness checks are the ones you can fix this month.
How accurate is a 10-second check?
It reads one page — your homepage — plus robots.txt and your sitemap, and it looks up your domain in the public link graph. It reports how many of its checks it could actually run, and withholds any check it could not measure rather than guessing. Checks that need several pages, like duplicate titles across a site, are marked unmeasured rather than passed.
Do you store my website data?
We keep the scan result for 24 hours so a repeat check is instant, and we do not publish it. If you unlock the full report we store the result against your email so we can follow up about it. We do not add you to a newsletter or a drip sequence, and we do not call you.

Every week it stays invisible, someone else gets cited instead

Run the check, then bring the result to a call. Thirty minutes, no pitch deck.
